Schools Appeal

ABOUT THE CHARITABLE WORKS FUND SCHOOLS APPEAL

The Charitable Works Fund (CWF) is the charity of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney.

Through its six benefiting agencies the CWF provides youth and family services, refugee and migrant support, chaplaincy services at hospitals, aged care facilities and universities, faith education for young Catholic public school children, training for our future priests, advocacy for the deaf and hard of hearing and faith support and advocacy for Aboriginal Catholics.

For a number of years now, our Catholic Schools have been crucial partners in helping the Sydney Archdiocese raise funds for the CWF.  We’ve been able to achieve so much thanks to your generous efforts.

This year, we’re asking for your help once more in running the CWF Schools Appeal.

We understand that your school has other commitments in its diary, but you have the flexibility to run this appeal any time this year.

You can run a Gold Coin Mufti Day or plan a Fundraising Day with various activities.

Any funds you raise will be credited to your local Sydney parish, so you’re also helping them in addition to the people who rely on CWF-funded programs.

The CWF is your local charity, helping your local community – so please consider your support.

Thank you, and God bless you.
