The Ephpheta Centre The Ephpheta Centre provides services to deaf and hearing impaired people in the dioceses of Sydney, Broken Bay and Parramatta. The Centre provides sacramental and pastoral care, counselling, support and advocacy services. In Australia, we use ‘Auslan’ which is an acronym for Australian Sign Language. It is the natural language of the Australian deaf community.
